I am a married mother with 2 beautiful girls ages 9 & 12 and almost 1 year old son. I've got my Bachelors of Management and working as a project/event/volunteers coordinator for 6 years. Then I studied the Early Childhood Educator level 1 certificate. I am an experienced Early Childhood Educator and running my Dayhome for the past 10 years! I love playing and teaching the young children! Listening to their giggling sounds and watching they learned new skills everyday, I felt wonderful and meaningful!
My Mission
To provide the quality care for your little angles in a safe, loving & art immersion environment. My philosophy is that children come first. I know that magic happens when we nurture the whole child, body, mind and spirit. I treat each child as an individual, a person with his or her unique way of learning and doing. I am a mom too; therefore, I totally understand how importance of finding the perfect day home for your child; as there is nothing more precious to parents than our children.
Feature
My day home is named “Discovery Musical” dayhome because we believe that “Music” is an important element in children’s life. There are lots of research shown that if young children listening to 10 to 15 minutes classical music per day can increase their IQ by 5%!
In addition to that, scientists have discovered music training has significant influences on the brain development of young children, leading to improved memory over the course of a year. Researchers also found that the musically trained children performed better in a memory test. That is correlated with other skills such as literacy, verbal memory, mathematics and intelligence. Therefore, in our day home, music is playing all day long.
My dayhome is also inspired by Reggio Emilla Approach too, here is the link for more information about Reggio Emilla Approach. http://www.aneverydaystory.com/beginners-guide-to-reggio-emilia/main-principles/
